Google Structured Data: Markdown pages for AI agents
AI agents visiting your Joomla site get back full HTML with menus, scripts, and footers mixed in. The new Convert HTML to Markdown feature serves clean Markdown versions of your pages at dedicated .md URLs, giving agents the actual content without the noise.
MailChimp Auto-Subscribe: Community Builder integration and more
Three additions that make your subscriber workflow more automated and less manual. Profile changes now sync to MailChimp immediately on account update, deleted Joomla accounts are automatically unsubscribed, and Community Builder profile fields can be mapped directly to MailChimp Merge Tags.
Convert Forms: Export Submissions improvements
Two new options in Export Submissions: choose the CSV delimiter (comma or semicolon) to match your spreadsheet tool, and include submission notes in the export file. This cycle also fixes a TinyMCE URL issue, a JSON API date error, and file uploads failing when Joomla SEF URLs are disabled.
Advanced Custom Fields: Bug fixes
Four fixes this cycle: the Phone Number field country selector not working in Joomla 6.1, FAQ Field validation when set as required with no value, a false Chained Field MIME type warning, and the Map Field not rendering in YooTheme Dynamic Content when Max Markers is set to 1.
Security Fix: Arbitrary File Deletion
We identified and fixed an arbitrary file deletion vulnerability in the public file upload delete flow, affecting Convert Forms, Advanced Custom Fields, and Smile Pack. If you use any of these extensions, update immediately.
Recent Past Updates
Here are some key past updates in case you missed them:
- Security Vulnerability Assessment: A vulnerability in the Tassos Framework system plugin was responsibly disclosed and immediately patched across all affected extensions. There is no evidence it was exploited in the wild, but if you have not updated yet, do it now.
- Convert Forms: Four improvements this cycle: file uploads now show thumbnails and file type icons before submitting, form tasks are preserved when duplicating or exporting, two new Smart Tags expose form ID and name in notifications, and submission search delivers more reliable results in both the backend and frontend.
- Google Structured Data: J2Commerce custom fields can now be mapped directly to schema properties, Lodging Business is available as an Organization schema type, and Custom Code output now produces proper ISO 8601 dates and full image URLs.
- Advanced Custom Fields: The File Upload field now shows image previews before saving, the Video field supports Facebook Reels, and a series of fixes brings full compatibility with YooTheme 5.
