I want to insure tha everyone is aware of an upcoming FREE TO THE PUBLIC event at the Tollesboro Lions Club Fairgrounds May 22nd, 6 pm (a meal will be provided. Please share with other entities that may benefit from this event). This event is to be a think tank of sorts and will be offered at 8 locations throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is supposed to offer assistance to any group (Lions Clubs, County Fairs, Livestock Exhibitors, basically ANY organization as well as volunteers that assist said organizations) to increase fund-raising capabilities, networking capabilities, exposure, etc. I really don't know what to expect as this is a new opportunity that has not been offered in Kentucky before, but pre-registration is a must (I assume due to the fact that are providing a meal, but probably also to insure that they have adequate handouts, enough seating and desk space is available, etc.). The following press release (which I submitted to the Lewis County Herald and the Ledger Independent) includes the link information to pre-register. Sincerely, Craig A. Stanfield, President, Tollesboro Lions Club, 606-301-3350, info@stanfieldproperty.com.
