Great..  I didnt know that they provided the jumpy houses free..  we might have been able to have saved some money..  I know that in 2022 we paid them to come to mayfest.

Im going to pick your brain tomorrow about advertising,,  also, need to get with Tara on the big poster ads, and get those ordered..  We should designate some people to go to ceratin places, such as Garrison, Tollesboro, etc to see if we can put these flyers on their door or windows...  thoughts?

Hi Mark,
An ad campaign would be great. I posted something on my FB page yesterday which you could share on the Chamber page.  I mentioned the bouncy houses and other children's activities provided by Marc Harrison. I then said something about how we are not duplicating those activities and also are limiting food trucks so we don't have a ton of duplicates on them.  I would like to post something each day to get anticipation going on the May fest.  I met with Joe on Friday.  I told him about the situation with Journey's Jumpy's and he said they have always been good to him on July 4th celebration.  They don't charge him and then  sell them to the kids.  He said they may sell a bracelet for about $ 5 which they can use. (I am not sure how many times they can)   I also told him about how expensive the porta potties were and he said, "let me take care of them".  Of course, I said sure.  I asked if the Vet Park's restrooms will be open and they will.  I told him about my conversation with the Greenup Tourism director.  He said he would talk with their judge exec. about it.  I'll see you tomorrow!  Joni

I would like to start an ad campaigne on facebook..  Whats your thoughts on how much we should spend on Advertising the event as a whole, and or should we advertise some of the events individually?

Also.  should we post a link on the website to invite more vendors?  Post the link to the website signup??..

Also.  and while Im thinking about it, and have thought about it....    The situation with Jason Bryant, and Billy...    Don't we pay for the bouncy houses?  I mean, its kind of the opposite way, right? Vendors pay us to setup and sell items, and we hire entertainment..  Should'nt we have the say so of who we get to do the entertainment?  Also..  shouldn't we hire our own members if they can supply this type of entertainment?  After all, it is being sponsored by The City and The Chamber..  Hoping you are getting what I mean.
