Subject: Date for May Fest
The last day of school in Lewis County is May 19th and graduation is May 16th. We had decided we wanted to have the festival while school is in session.. How do you feel about Saturday May 9th? I have checked online and so far there are no festivals or events on that day. Please get back to me on your thoughts since we cannot plan anything until we know what date we want to settle on.
Also, I spoke with Joe Billman today. He checked with the city attorney and the only way we can utilize their insurance, and do not have to purchase our own, is if they are listed as one of the event sponsors along with the Chamber. Joni
